b)After  review  and  scrutiny  of  received  applications,  the  eligible  applicants will be selected following due procedures.
c)The  selected personnel,  shall  be  taken  on  contract  /  outsourcing  basis temporarily   fora   period   of two   (2)years   initially.
The   selection   of candidates is solely at the discretion of APUG&BCL.
d)The  selected  candidates  are  not  entitled  for  any  permanent  positions  with APUG&BCL or any other Government undertakings.

1.Notification  for  selection  of Research  officer,  Research Assistant and  Field/Lab Assistant on outsourcing/contract  basis to  work  in  A.P.  Urban  Greening  and Beautification Corporation Limited on contract / outsourcingbasis.
a)Government  of  Andhra  Pradesh  have  constituted  A.P.  Urban  Greening  and Beautification Corporation Ltd (APUG&BCL) vide G.O.Ms.No.25, MA&UD (M2) Dept.  dt.11.02.2015  for  protection,  planning  and  up-
gradation  of  all  urban vacant lands,  municipal  lands,  parks,  green  zones,  water  bodies  and  urban river fronts  to manage  them  effectively  by  establishing  parks,  urban  forestry,
river  front  landscapes  and  herbal  plantations  etc.,  in  all  the  Urban  Local Bodies (ULBs) of the state.
b)APUG&BCL is assisting various Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of Andhra Pradesh in projects    conceptualization    till    project    implementation    with    the    main
objectives  include,  protecting  &  enhancing  the  greenery  and  aesthetics  to mitigate   the   climate   change   in   the   urban   areas   of   the   state   through plantations.
c)As  mandated  by  the  Government,  the  APUG&BCL  being  an  advisory  body  is facilitating  beautification  and  landscape  development  works  in  the  Urban
Local Bodies of the state of A.P., by providing technical guidance and support for execution of the greenery development projects.
d)It  is  proposed  to  develop  Research  Centre  for  conducting  experimental  trails &  research  on  ornamental  plants,  tree  species  so  as  to  use  the  research
results in the development of landscape gardens etc., to increase green cover in the State of A.P.
e)APUG&BCL   require Research   officer,   Research   Assistant   and   Field/Lab Assistant   for   the
proposed   Research   Center on ornamental   plants by APUG&BCL  in  the  state  of  Andhra  Pradesh  to  work  on outsourcing/contract basis for a period of two (2)years initially.
2.The  required  qualification/experience  and  its  job  description  for  the above posts are outlined in the table below:

Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria;-Ph.D.,in  Botany /  Horticulture with minimum 5 years research experience on ornamental/  native  plants and plant breeding
Job description;-Lead    the    research    team,    supervise research projects  conduct  experiments.  Determine  goals  of research projects, research methods and other test parameters.  Review  and  analyze  data.
Report  the research   methods   and   results   to   the   officers concerned

Work Place;-Vijayawada
Consolidated Remuneration per month;=Rs.30,000/-
Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria;-M.Sc.,  Botany  /  Horticulture/ plant bio-technology with minimum  5  years  experience in field / lab on plant profiling, data base, tissue culture etc.,
Job description;-To  conduct  research  trials  in  lab/field,carryout field  works.  Record  and  analyze  the  results  of  the field  studies,  compile research studies and  data. Work under the supervision of Research Officer.

Qualification;-BSc.Botany /Horticulture with 3years   experience   in laboratoryand field trials
Job description;-Assist  in  research  field  trials,  maintainherbarium, data base, records and office assistance.Computer knowledge is essential.
