POWERGRID,  the  Central  Transmission  Utility  (CTU)  of  India  and  a  Navratna  Public  Sector  Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for  planning,  co-ordination,  supervision  and  control  over  complete  inter-tate  transmission  system  and operation  of  National  &  Regional  Power  Grids.  POWERGRID  operates  around 1,32,138 circuit  kms  of transmission lines along with 213 Sub-stations (as on 30.11.2016) and wheels about 50% of total power generated  in  the  country  through  its  transmission  network. POWERGRID  also  owns  and  operates approximately  39,662kms  of  Telecom  Network,  with  points  of  presence  in  approx.  595  locations  and intra-city network in
105 cities across India. POWERGRID,  with  its  strong  in-house  expertise  in  various  facets  of  Transmission,  Sub-Transmission, Distribution  and  Telecom  sectors  also  offers  consultancy  services  at  National  and  International  level. 7.Wherever percentage of Marks is specified in essential qualification, the same shall be considered without rounding off.
8.Wherever  CGPA/OGPA/DGPA  or  Letter  Grade  in  a  degree  /  diploma  is  awarded,  its  equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by University / Institute.
9.Percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree shall be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree.  In  case  the  candidates  are  awarded  grades/CGPA  instead  of  marks,  the  conversion  of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks shall be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor’s degree. 11.Teaching experience and Trainee period will not be counted as experience.
12.Categories/ Subcategories of PwD eligible for the posts are as per the categories/ sub-categories of PwD identified suitable for the posts as per Govt. Notification.

NOTICE
Applications  are    invited  from  the  eligible  candidates  fulfilling  the  following  eligibility criteria for the  post of Part Time Sweeper on 1/3 scale wages.

Eligibility criteria for part time sweeper jobs in andhra bank:
(1) Age: Candidates  should  be  in  the  age  group  of  18  to  25  years  as  on  the  date  of notification.  However, the upper age limit shall be relaxed to the
extent mentioned in the following case.
a)SC/ST Category : By 5 years
b) OBC Category: By 3 years
c)Persons with Disability : By 10 years.
d) Ex-servicemen: By 3  years  in  addition  to  the  actual  service  to  the  period rendered  in  the  Defence  services.The  maximum  age  limit  of  all  relaxations
combined not to exceed 50 years unless it is so provided in Govt.Directives.
e) Widows,  Divorced  Women  and  women  legally  separated  from  their  husbands who are not remarried are entitled age relaxation by 9 years. In case of persons who are eligible for relaxation of upper age limit  in  more than one category, the relaxation shall be cumulative.
(2) Educational Qualifications:
As on the date of notification Minimum  :  Pass in 8 th class or its equivalent.
Maximum :  Should not have passed 12 th class or its equivalent.
Should have studied local language as one of the subjects in 8th standard.   
(3)Place of Domicile:
The  eligible  candidates  should  be  the  domicile  of  that  District  for  which  PTS      vacancies  have  been  notified  /  published.
The  applicants, while  applying  for the post,  to  furnish  proof  of  permanent  residence  from  the  Revenue  authorities  or registration with concerned District Employment Exchange as
proof of domicile.
(4) Other conditions / requirements
1.Pay Scale:a.1/3rd of  Pay  plus  other  allowances  as  applicable  to  Sub-Staff  cadre  ie.,Rs.3187/-plus other allowances as per B.P.Settlement.
2 SC/ST  Category:  The  candidates  should  submit  caste  certificate  issued  by the competent  authority.
3.OBC  Category:  The  candidates  should  submit  their  latest caste  certificate (not  more  than  one  year  from  the  date  of  Notification)  issued  by  the

4.Persons  with  Disability:

(a) Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
(b) Must possess the civilian driving license for heavy vehicle.

8Technical Attendant – Book Binder

Industrial Training Institute Pass Certificate in Book Binder from a recognized Institute.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.       Age Relaxation.
(a)        Relaxation of upper age limit of 5 years for posts reserved for SC/ST is admissible and 3 years for posts reserved for OBC is admissible.
(b)        Age relaxation for Physically Handicapped, Ex- Servicemen and Central Government Servants is applicable as per the Government orders.
(c)       No age relaxation is admissible to SC/ST/OBC candidates who apply against unreserved posts.

2.         Reservation.
(a)         SC/ST/OBC Candidates who have applied against reserve categories are required to submit a valid certificate regarding their caste status as given in Annexure 1 by SC/ST candidates and Annexure 2 by OBC candidates.
(b)        OBC candidates are required to submit a valid certificate regarding his/her having Non-Creamy Layer status issued by competent authority.  Reservation will be applicable to such OBC candidates who do not fall under the Creamy Layer status.

3.       Physically Handicapped Persons.
(a)        Only such persons would be eligible for reservation in services/posts who suffer from 40% or more of relevant disability.  A person who wants to avail benefit of reservation is required to submit the computerized ‘Permanent’ disability certificate issued by a Medical Board duly constituted by the Central or State Government as given in Annexure 3.
(b)        A Medical Board consisting of at least 3 members, out of which, at least one member shall be a Specialist from the relevant field.
4.      Syllabus. Questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning will be non-verbal considering the functions attached to the post. Questions on Numerical Aptitude and General English up to the level of minimum educational qualification prescribed for each post will be such that an average matriculate will be in a position to answer them comfortably (Std X or XII or Graduate as applicable, with subjects English, Math, Science etc.) Questions on General awareness will also be of similar standard.
5.      Short Listing.
(a)        If the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large, the Commandant, National Defence Academy Khadakwasla reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed minimum essential qualification, number of which may be upto ten times or more than the number of posts in each category in this advertisement for selection tests and upto 4 times or more for the Skill Test.
(b)         The applications accepted on scrutiny will be shortlisted based on the essential qualifications/experience required and shortlisted candidates will only be called for test. All selection tests will be conducted at NDA Khadakwasla, Pune.

             (iii)  Any other deemed irregularity or reason as observed by               the Board of Officers.
