Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool is an Institute of National Importance established in 2015 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is a Centre of Excellence for pursuing Design and Manufacturing oriented Engineering Education and Research and for promoting competitive advantage of Indian products in global markets.

The Institute is located at Jagannathagattu, Dinnedevarapadu Village, Kurnool Andhra Pradesh and construction of state of art campus is under progress. This institute is mentored by IIITDM Kancheepurm.

The Institute offers B.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineerin
It functions with the vision to groom engineers with design and manufacturing skills. The institute gives significant amount of emphasis for practice courses and theory concepts are also explored along with the relevant laboratory course.

Note:
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as applicable.
House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance as per the 6th
Age limit in case of Assistant Professor Grade II shall be a maximum of 35 Years; 40 Years for
Assistant Professor Grade I and 45 Years in case of Associate professor. CPC till further orders.
Post Doctoral Experience in reputed institution in India and abroad will be an added advantage

Eligible Degrees for Consideration:
1. Computer Science and Engineering B.E/B.Tech
or
M.E/M.Tech/M.Des in Computer/Electrical/ Electronics/Electronics& Communication along with Ph.D Degree in Computer Science and Engineering only

2. Electronics & Communications Engineering B.E/B.Tech
 or
M.E/M.Tech/M.Des in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering  along with Ph.D Degree in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering only .

3. Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Design and Smart Manufacturing B.E/B.Tech
or
M.E/M.Tech/M.Desin Mechanical Engineering//Aerospace Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/ Instrumentation/Production/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Mechatronics/ CAD/CAM/ CIM and in related areas along with Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering only

4. Mathematics Master's  Degree  in  Mathematics/  Statistics/  Computer  Science
or
M.Tech (Industrial Mathematics & Scientific Computing)
or
any M.Tech degree with Master's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science along with  Ph.D in Mathematics/ Computational Mathematics only.

5. PhysicsM.Sc/ M.Sc (Tech) in Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science/M.Tech  (Solid  State  Technology)/M.Tech  (Materials  Science)/
M.Sc. Applied Optics/ Optoelectronics or equivalent along with Ph.D in Physics only.

In case of Institute offering interdisciplinary courses, the area of specialization/research will be considered for short listing suitable candidates.

Instructions for Applicants:

A detailed  Academic Profile, inter alia,  including the following information is required to be submitted:
A  Teaching  Plan,  indicating  core  courses  from  the  curriculum  of  IITDM Kurnool (available at www.iiitdmkl.ac.in) that the applicant can teach and also an expanded statement of his objectives  and  long term interests in coursework development. In case of candidates having prior teaching experience, the statement should contain student feedback ratings, profiles of 3 best courses taught in the last three years (profile should contain course outline / teaching plan, novel methods used, if any, including online content, term papers, group  activity  etc.,)  The  statement  should  also  include  details  of  any  teaching  related
awards and details of participation in teacher development programs as participant or as mentor.

A Research Plan highlighting current and past research interests and achievements as also future plans in the short and long terms. The plan shall also highlight
s the achievements of guided research scholars especially where one can take pride in the work done or the role
played in guiding. In addition, candidates are expected to submit one page abstract of two research proposals after joining the institute.

Outstation candidates within India shortlisted for personal interview after seminar presentation, will be paid 2nd Class AC train fare by the shortest route from your residence or work place.

Mode of Selection:
The selection will be based on Seminar Presentation and interview. The candidates called for seminar presentation will be assessed by the duly constituted  committee and only the candidates shortlisted and recommended by the committee shall attend interview.
