Notification for JRF/Research Assistant

Applications are invited from Indian and foreign national for the post of;-

1.     Junior Research Fellow:- or Research Assistant(RA);- to work in Ramanujan Fellowship Research Grant at Department of Physics, NIT patna. India. For the project titled” Quantam foundations from quantum information theoreticl perspective”.

2.     Research Assistant:- in seed project of NIT Patna for project titled”Quantum weak measurements; implications to Quantum metrology, Errors-disturbance relation and quantum cryptography.

Eligibility:-

1.       JRF:- Master Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, (MSc.,M.Tech.,MS.,etc.,) with A Valid GATE or NET scores is mandatory.                                             And for RA post;- Ph.D in Physics with published works in the field of quantum foundations / quantum communications. Those who have submitted their Ph.D thesis may also apply.

2.       Research Assistant:- Candidate must passed in a Master degree (MS or M.Tech or M.Sc) in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science.

Duration:-

1.       For JRF;- 3 years.

2.       For RA;- 1 year (Extendable upto 3 years)

3.       For Research Assistant:- 5 months.

Salary:- For RA;- 36,000/- + HRA,  and For JRF;- 25,000/- + HRA.   For Research Assistant;- 8000/- pm.
